Elizabeth Ann (Floyd) Pugh, 75, of Waynesboro passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Augusta Health.
Born January 29, 1942 in Nelson County, she was the daughter of the late Paul Eldridge Floyd, Sr. and Helen Mae (Carr) Floyd.
Elizabeth was a member of Hebron Baptist Church, Afton. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing the card game canasta and reading.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Joseph Pugh, Jr.; her brother, Paul E. Floyd, Jr.; and her sister, Judy Mae Lotts.
Survivors include her two daughters, Kathy Pugh Britts and husband, Jimmy and Donna Pugh Fitzgerald and husband, Thomas all of Afton; grandchildren, Jonathan C. Britts and Katie E. Britts; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Hebron Baptist Church, Afton with Pastor Billy Coffey officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Joel Gillespie, John Randolph, Jeff Randolph, Greg Pugh, Chris Pugh and Chad Pugh.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 15, 2017 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 618 W. Main St.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Elizabeth’s memory to the Waynesboro Rescue Squad, 201 W. Broad St., Waynesboro, VA 22980.
