Sharon Raines Kile

Sharon Raines Kile, 96, a lifetime resident of Augusta County passed away on December 23, 2017. She was born on July 15, 1921 in Circleville, WV and was the daughter of the late Fred and Dessie Lambert Raines. Sharon was a member of the New Hope United Methodist Church and the Hi Noon Club at her church. She worked a number of years at American Safety Razor in Verona before retiring. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. On September 25, 1937 she married Curtis William Kile, who preceded her in death on December 16, 1976. She is survived by her daughters, Yvonne Trincher of Elkton, Rose Armstrong of Staunton, Juanita Hartman of Weyers Cave, and Morene Morris and husband, Eddie, of Crimora; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Frances Simmons of Front Royal. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers. A funeral service will be held 7:00 pm, this evening (Wednesday), December 27, 2017 at Lindsey Funeral Home in Weyers Cave. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm, on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Rawley Springs Mennonite Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, 1 Billy Graham Parkway, Charlotte, NC 28201; Weyers Cave Fire Department or Grottoes Rescue Squad.
