Death Notice
James Linwood Booker, the father of popular D.C. area Voice Coach, Sally B. Waller and the brother of the famous “Chuck Booker”, who was guitar player for legendary R&B group, “The Clovers”, died peacefully in his sleep at 1:55 a.m on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Parker’s Adult Care Home. Family
Preceded in death by wife, Carole A. Booker, step-son, William David Veney, both parents, Sally and Charles Booker, younger brother, Charles “Chuck” Booker and older brother, Edward Booker. He is survived by daughter, Sally Lyndelia Booker-Waller (“Lollylou”), Son in-law, Rodney Waller, step-son, Mark E. Veney, his beloved eldest sister, Cordelia Freeman, his grandchildren, Kyle Ahn, Kameko Ahn and Kamyah Ahn, step-grands, Erikka J. Veney, Evan Veney, Aislyn Dennis, Jake David Goddard and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, caretakers and loved ones in Stafford, Virginia, Williamsburg, Virginia, King and Queen, Virginia and the Washington DC Metropolitan.
Services & Condolences
The funeral services of James L. Booker will take place on the date of his birthday, Saturday February 3, 2018 at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service of Dignity Memorial located at: 186 Shelton Shop Rd., Stafford, VA 22554. Carole A. Booker will also be recognized during the service | Event will begin with Funeral Visitation at 11a.m. and the Service begins promptly at 12 p.m. and shall be followed by a Repast on location. Family will meet at the home of Sally B. Waller following the Repast for birthday cake and refreshments. Condolences, cards and flowers will be received at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Home as well.
Interment
James L. Booker will be buried with military honors at Quantico National Cemetery on Monday, February 5, 2018. He will be buried with his wife, Carole A. Booker.

The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation for the sympathy, comforting words, prayers and all expressions of kindness and concern.
