Sarah Frances (Hammack) Bauermeister

Sarah Frances (Hammack) Bauermeister, 90, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018. The daughter of the late Dan and Elizabeth (Darnell) Hammack, Frances was born March 3, 1927 in Ramsey, IN. She was a homemaker and widow of the late Robert C. Bauermeister, Sr., the love of her life. Together they provided a childhood their children will always cherish. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Corky Hunt, and her siblings. Survivors include her children, Robert C. Bauermeister, Jr. (Dodie), Kenny Bauermeister (Tammy), Debbie Poole (John), Jeannie Schoetz (John), and Dana Hunt; 9 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren. Visitation will be 2:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Tuesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany. Her Funeral Service will be 11 am Wednesday in the Kraft Spring Street Chapel with burial following in Louisville Memorial Gardens West, Louisville KY.
