Deborah "Brandy" Lynn Ficklin

Deborah “Brandy” Ficklin, 62, of Indianapolis, went to be with the Lord February 24, 2018. She was born and raised in Richmond, Indiana to the late Everett and Shirley Johnting and also step-mother Shirley Johnting. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Ficklin, Jr.; children, Joshua Johnting (Shelley), Summer Kennada (Scott), Heather Brown (Jason), Mindy Letourneau (Austin) and Autumn Metzger; 17 grandchildren; brother, David Johnting (Terri) and sister Laura Coates (Steven. Brandy was a faith filled woman of God, who diligently prayed over her family and friends. She was a member of Lifeway Assembly of God Church and looked forward to attending every Sunday. She was a homemaker for the last several years but occupied much of her time in ministering to others through lawn care and fellowshipping through housekeeping. She was very kind hearted and always willing to help anyone in need. She especially loved all of her grandchildren. Proverbs 31:28 Her children rise up and call her blessed, her husband also, and he praises her. A celebration of Brandy’s life will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary, 1307 N. Shadeland Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46219. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
