Orville Ray Dickey

Orville R. Dickey, 75, of Greencastle passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Mill Pond Health Campus.
Orville was born on September 11, 1942, in Lena the son of Albert and Emily (Shaner), Dickey, and was a 1960 graduate of Eminence High School.
Mr. Dickey served proudly in the United States Army. He worked various jobs in and around the Greencastle area driving Semis; he worked for Refuse Handling and some of the local car manufacturing plants. Orville was a life-time member of Moose Lodge 1592.
Orville is survived by his wife, Laura Martin-Dickey; they were married on April 28, 2001. He is also survived by his sister, Lucille Liebert, a brother, George Dickey, five sisters-in-law, Kay Foxworthy, Rosedale, Connie Griffin, Mecca, Janet (Ron) Cannon, Raccoon Lake, and Jackie Earnhart, Goshen; two brothers-in-law, Larry (Paula) Martin, Bellmore, and Charles Engle, Bellmore; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers-in-law, Gene Liebert and Gary Foxworthy; a sister-in-law, Sue Engle; and two nephews, Calvin Dickey and Dale Eugene Liebert.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home with Pastor Bradley Phillips officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until time of service on Saturday. The Moose Lodge will have a walkthrough prior to the service.
