Hazel Marie Caldwell Coleman

Hazel Marie Caldwell Coleman, 77, of Madison Heights passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Henry Everett Coleman, Sr. Born February 5, 1941, in Narrows, she was the daughter of the late Eugene Clifton Caldwell and the late Virginia Katherine Baker Caldwell.
Marie retired in engineering support from GE/Ericsson and was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Madison Heights.
In addition to her husband and parents, Marie was preceded in death by two siblings, Benjamin Lee Caldwell and Madison Field Caldwell.
Marie is survived by her son Everett Coleman of Madison Heights; four siblings, Gerry Sizer (Frank) of New Castle, Bill Caldwell (Joyce) of Milton, FL, Donald Caldwell (Sara) of New Castle and Ellen Jackson (Dennis) of Cantonment, FL; five grandchildren, Catherine Coleman Walser (Alex), Christan Coleman, Taylor Coleman, Tyler Coleman and Chad Coleman; one great grandson, Isaac Walser; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 5, 2018, at Whitten Monelison Chapel with the Rev. Jesse Dunnaway officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends 3-5 p.m., Sunday, March 4, 2018, at Whitten Monelison Chapel and at other times at the residence.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society of the American Heart Association.
