Frank R Hunter

Frank R. Hunter, 88, of Evansville, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018 at University Nursing and Rehabilitation. He was born February 5, 1930 in Evansville to the late Elmer and Lillian (Ochsner). He retired from SIGECO after 42 years as a claims investigator. He was a long time member of Olivet Community Church where he served as an elder and deacon and was a longtime member of the men’s group. He enjoyed golfing and travel, especially family trips to Hilton Head, SC. Frank is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carol (Stephenson) Hunter; daughter, Holly Bertram; son, Aaron Hunter (Angie); grandchildren, Joshua and Jared Bertram, Madelyn and Lance Hunter; cousins, Patsy Sundermeier and Gary Day (Barbara); brother and sister-in-law, Marvin and Bettye Stephenson; niece, Debbie Allison and nephew, Tim Stephenson. A Funeral Service will be 10:00AM, Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road, officiated by Pastor David Mills, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit 3:00 to 7:00PM, Tuesday, March 6, 2018 and Wednesday, 9:00AM to service time at the funeral home.
