Marian A. “Bunny” Christman, 87, of Fort Wayne went to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Lincolnshire Place. She was born on December 14, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois a daughter of the late Robert S. and Agnes (Tariski) Sharpe. She was a homemaker and had worked at Lincoln Life Insurance Company. Marian loved her family, her Lithuanian heritage, and playing the accordion. She was a devout Catholic who enjoyed playing the organ at St. Mary's of the Angels Catholic Church at Big Long Lake. Her kindness and humble spirit will be missed by all who knew her. Surviving family include her children, Debbie (Bruce) Springer, Elaine (Dave) Shown, Maxine (Colby) Keeney, Jane Christman, Edwin R. Christman; nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; sister, Lillian Duehmig; and special brother-in-law and companion, Charles Christman. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her husband, Edwin F. Christman. Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 14623 Bluffton Rd, Yoder with a gathering of friends and family one hour prior. Gathering time will also be 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Monday, March 26, 2018 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Rd., Fort Wayne with a rosary service at 7:30 pm. Inurnment will be in St. Aloysius Catholic Church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Parkview Hospice or Masses.
