Steve Oliver Feldkamp

Steve Oliver Feldkamp, 68, of Terre Haute, passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Richard Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis. He was born on August 10, 1949, in Champaign, IL to Emil Charles and Carrie Catherine (Heverman) Feldkamp. Steve is survived by his children, Tammy Feldkamp of Terre Haute, Steven Feldkamp and wife Becky of Underwood, IN, and Mark Feldkamp of Terre Haute; granddaughters, Katherine Chitwood of Terre Haute, Jessica Barnard of Illinois, and Bailey Feldkamp of Underwood; a great-granddaughter, Arie Daniels; sisters, Jane Vaugt of Champaign, IL, Carol Millsap of Savoy, IL, Nancy Savage of Eldorado, IL; a brother, Danny Feldkamp of Tarpon Springs, FL; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Joyce Feldkamp; and brothers, Roy Feldkamp and Ted Feldkamp. Steve graduated from Effingham High School. He served in Vietnam for the United States Army. For many years, Steve worked for Unical and opened many 76 garages throughout the Midwest. He then worked for U-Haul for over seventeen years. Steve had a need for speed and enjoyed drag racing and watching Nascar. Visitation will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 24 at Mattox-Wood Funeral Home.
