Henry Robert "Bob" Facks

Henry Robert “Bob” Facks, 97, of Fort Wayne, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Genesis of New Haven. He was born March 25, 1921 in Allen County to the late Henry and Alice (Harkenrider) Facks. He retired in 1982 from General Electric after 42 years. He also worked for most of his life as a farmer and was a U. S. Army WWII Veteran. Surviving are his sister, Pauline Jamison of Virginia; many nieces and nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, William "Bill" Facks, Byron Facks, Helen Hartman, Paul Facks, Pearl Hughes, Walter Facks, and Alberta "Bertie" Thacker. Funeral service is Monday, April 9, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809 with visitation starting at 12:00 PM. Burial will be in Prairie Grove Cemetery. Preferred memorials may be made to Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control.
