Noella G. (Mongeot) Smith

Noella G. (Mongeot) Smith , 92 years of age died Wednesday April 4, 2018. Noella was born December 24, 1925 in Troys, France to the late Aucien and Rosemary (Vencon) Mongeot. She was a retired teller with Liberty National Bank and formerly a hostess for 30 years at the old Kuntz’s Restaurant in Louisville, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Layne Short. Survivors include her daughter, Mary Lee Short; two grandchildren, Kimberly Short, Tammy Mills (Timothy); three great grandchildren, Kira and Kayla Mills, Michael Short; two brothers, Pierre and Serge Vencon; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm Sunday, April 8th, and after 12:00 pm Monday, April 9th, at Kraft Funeral Service 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, April 9th, at the Kraft Charlestown Rd. Chapel. Private burial will be in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
