Mary "Jean" J. Smyers

Mary J. “Jean” Smyers, 89, of Fort Wayne passed April 26, 2018 at Covington Manor. She was born February 22, 1929 in Fort Wayne to the late Enid and Flossie (Huffman) Fuller. She had worked in sales at W&D's years ago and more recently worked at Fort Wayne Country Club for 35yrs. as the manager of the Ladies Locker Room. She was a member of the VFW#857. Surviving are her children, Thomas (Leslie) Smyers of New Port Richie, FL, Tracie (Jeffrey) Allen and Todd Smyers, both of Fort Wayne; five grandchildren; and seven greatgrandchildren. She was also proceeded in death by her husband, Bernard; and daughter, Terri Smyers. A Celebration of life gathering will be held Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 2 to 4pm at VFW#857, 2202 West Main Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46808. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
