Ruth Marie Williams

Ruth Marie (Ewing) Williams, 93, died peacefully on April 27, 2018 in Brown County Health and Living Center. Ruth was born on December 27, 1924 to the late John and Marie (Franke) Ewing in Chicago, Illinois. Ruth was a bookkeeper for many years for a large trucking firm. Ruth married Don Williams on May 12, 1948. He preceded her in death in 1985. Also three children preceded Ruth in death: Donna, Jimmy and Bobby. Ruth had four lifelong friends: Jody Buckle, Oakbrook terrace, IL; Robin Fitzgerald, Hinsdale, IL; Merrill Lyons, Seattle, WA; and Donna Braas, Nashville, IN. They would all like to thank Brown County Health and Living for the wonderful care that Ruth was given. As requested, there will be no services. Burial of Ruth’s ashes will be held at a later date in Arlington Cemetery, Elmhurst, IL. Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
