Curtis H. Ludwig

Curtis H. Ludwig, 83, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at Deaconess Gateway. He was born April 2, 1935, in Evansville, IN to the late George and Eleanor K. (Henze) Ludwig. He graduated from Reitz High School and retired from Whirlpool after 57 ½ years of service. He was a 50 year member of Grace Baptist Church where he was a part of the mission’s team. Curtis was preceded in death by his son, Michael; brother, Eugene; sister, Elaine Deer; and his parents. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Patsy (Watts) Ludwig: son, Jerry Wayne Ludwig (Judy); daughter, Lisa Ann Thornton (Bob); grandson, Justin Beach (Shannon Kendall); great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Ainsley Beach; sister, Judy Cox (Floyd); sister-in-law, Gladys Ludwig; brother-in-law, Tony Wunderlich (Nina); and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Grace Baptist Church, 1200 N. Garvin Ave., Evansville, IN 47711, officiated by Pastor Ray Deeter, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Friday from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Alexander West Chapel.
