Jimmy C. Rust

Jimmy C. Rust, 76, of Fort Wayne passed away on May 8, 2018. He was born on June 19, 1941 in Manchester, Tennessee, a son of the late Bruce and Louise (Whitman) Rust. He worked at and retired from Jae Custom Tube. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. Surviving family include his children, Steve, Greg, and Jason Rust, and Tonya Swain; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and siblings, Rusty (Cathy), Larry (Brenda), and David (Marie) Rust. Besides his parents, he was preceded in passing by his wife, Patricia (Baker) Rust; and siblings, Mary Jernigan and Don Rust. Funeral service will be 12:00 pm on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be in Prairie Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Visiting Nurse.
