Curtis Dean Alexander

Curtis Dean Alexander of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Sunday May 20th. Curt was a devoted husband, father and Christian and will be dearly missed. He and his wife Rosemarie were faithful members of Mount Pleasant Christian Church for many years. Curt was born in Redwood County, Minnesota to Glenn and Ava (Antoine) Alexander, he was one of six children. He graduated from Redwood High School in 1949. Served in the U. S. Navy from 1951 – 1955 with an honorable discharge as Yeoman 2nd Class. He married Donna (McCoy) Alexander in 1956. Graduated from University of Minnesota with a BS in accounting in 1959. Curt worked as an auditor for the U. S. Department of Agriculture from 1961 – 1985. Curt and Donna had two sons, Bradley, married to Susan (Ward), and Bryan, married to Amy (Belcas). Curt married Rosemarie (McCall/Krahn) in 1986 gaining more sons and daughters: Gregory Krahn, Christopher (and Ginger) Krahn, John Krahn, Luann Wiegele, and Cynthia Kelly. Curt and Rosemarie had 19 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Curt was preceded in death by his wife Rosemarie, his parents Glenn and Ava, his brother David, his sisters Ruth Lowry and Ethel Irlbeck. Visitation Friday June 8th from 5:00 – 8:00 pm. Memorial service Saturday June 9th at 11:00 am. Both will be held at Little and Sons Funeral Home, 1301 Main Street, Beech Grove, IN. A burial will occur at a later date Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, 734 N.
