Curtis Lee Sinclair

Curtis Lee Sinclair, 88, of Cloverdale passed away Saturday, June 2, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his family.
Curtis was born in Putnam County on June 18, 1929, the son of Fred A. and Freida (McCammack) Sinclair, and was a 1948 graduate of Cloverdale High School. Right after graduating high school, he married his sweetheart on July 3, 1948.
Mr. Sinclair was a member of Cloverdale Church of Christ. He was a farmer in Putnam County and an astute businessman. He was very active in the community and loved his family dearly.
Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Lucille Sinclair, Cloverdale; a daughter-in-law, Beverly Sinclair; two grandchildren, Brad Sinclair, (wife-Erin), and David Sinclair, (wife-Cristy); four great-grandchildren, Brad and Erin’s children, Colby and Blake Sinclair, and David and Cristy’s children, Gavin and Katelyn Sinclair.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Jerry Sinclair; and a brother, Charlie Sinclair.
A graveside memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Cloverdale Cemetery with Pastor Matt Nichols officiating. Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
