Sharon Hernandez

Our beloved mother, Sharon Hernandez, 83, of Evansville, IN, passed away Friday, June 8, 2018. She was born October 2, 1934, in Evansville, Indiana, to the late Clyde Otto and Alberta (DeVault) Bolin. Sharon worked at Keller Crescent for over 30 years. She was very involved in her church, Bible Center Cathedral. She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Roberts; and late husband, Gus Bland. Sharon is survived by her loving husband, Charles Hernandez and five children, William Calhoun (Cindy) and Christina Dugger (Darin); Debbie Kuykendall (Ralph), Tony Hernandez (Tiffany) and Troy Hernandez (Robin); and a grandmother of 14 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and sister, Audrey Farmer; and various nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Pastor Greg Hitchcock, with entombment at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Tuesday from 3:00 to 8:00 PM and Wednesday from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
