Joseph Graham Harris Jr.

Joseph Graham Harris, Jr., 86, of Evansville, IN passed away June 12, 2018. He was born on December 2, 1931 son of the late Don and Louise Farrell and Joseph Harris, Sr.
He attended Vogel school and was a 1950 graduate of Bosse High School. He worked for Bachman Buick Company and Indiana Insurance Company. Joseph retired from Allstate Insurance Company after 27 ½ as a claims adjuster. He was the President of the Adjuster’s Association, and an assistant Scout Leader. Joseph enjoyed square dancing, golf, motorcycling, woodworking, and travel. He was a lifelong member of Oak Hill Church.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 64 years, Joan Lee (Moore) Harris.
Joseph is survived by his daughter, J. Kathleen Harris (Richard Jobe), of Evansville; sons, Dr. J. Kim Harris (Kandy Kramer Harris), of Midlothian, VA, John K. Harris (Cheryl Jenkins Harris), of Princeton, IN; grandchildren, Kalah E. and Nicholas J. Hirsch, Loren Pritchett Harrison (William), Jesse Harris (Erin Bartholomew), Joshua Harris, David J. Harris and wife Kelley, Jacob P. Harris, Ali Richmer (Kyle); great grandchildren, Danica Hirsch, Betzi White, Rowan Harris, Riley Harrison, and Landric Richmer; sisters, Donna Farrell Hedges (Kenneth), Rebecca Harris Hirsch (David); and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank West River Legacy Unit and Kindred Hospice.
A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 Sunday, June 17, 2018, at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue, officiated by Rev. Ron Parsley. Fellowship to follow until 5:00 PM at the funeral home.
