Obituary of Juanita Mae Conn
Juanita May (Creasey) Conn, 92, of Terre Haute, passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at Meadows Manor East. She was born on Nov. 12, 1925, in Terre Haute, to Everett and Anna (Smith) Creasey. Juanita is survived by her children, Vicki Ann Conn and Ralph Conn II and wife Debby, all of Terre Haute; sister, Margaret Whitworth and husband John; grandchildren, Tamara Turner and husband Don, Ralph Conn II and wife Allison, Randy Conn and wife Jennifer, and Rodney Conn and wife Sara; great-grandchildren, Dailn Beck (fiancé Ethan), Barret, Rachael, Meagan, Sophia, Jaseylyn, Jaylee, and Jensyn Conn; and Kylee and Travis Turner; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Mary Silvers. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 29 years, Ralph Conn; brother, George Everett Creasey; special friends, George and Dorothy Wilson and Fred Cleghorn. Juanita worked for the JC Penney Company as the manager of the women's sportswear department and retired after 26 years of service. She attended Deming Elementary and McLean Junior High. In her younger days, she enjoyed camping and fishing. Most of all, she cherished her family. She will forever be remembered as a loving, caring, and hardworking person, always putting other's needs before her own. Juanita's family wishes to extend thanks to the staff at Union Hospital and Meadows Manor East for their kindness and excellent service. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2018, at Thomas Funeral Home. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Lilly officiating. Juanita will be laid to rest in Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Terre Haute Humane Society, Wabash Valley Community Foundation, or the charity of your choice.
