Joyce Hammock Arnold

Joyce H. Arnold, 73, of Lynchburg, passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, David Arnold and by both parents, Henry and Kathleen Hammock. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Watts, who was her caregiver and loved her much. She had two special family friends, Pam Snead and James King. Joyce had several jobs in her early years of life, Craddock Terry, Tri Tech, Lynchburg Presort, and Best Mailing. She will now be free from pain and be rejoined with her husband and parents. The angels are now watching over her and it was a blessing to know such a great person. There will be no formal services; however her body will be laid out at the Whitten Timberlake Chapel for family and friends to pay their respect on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 and Thursday, July 12, 2018 during normal business hours, from 8 am to 6 pm. She will be interred at Altavista Memorial Park beside her husband.
