James "Don" Donald Woods

James Donald “Don” Woods, 65, of Nashville died Friday, August 3, 2018 in his home. He was born June 3, 1953 in Franklin to Felix Woods and Velma Floyd Woods. He was retired from Columbus Security. Survivors include his wife, Debra Hatchett Woods of Nashville; four children, Lynn Barker of Franklin, Kelly (Jacob) Flanders of Vevay, James Woods, Jr. of Nashville and Joann Daviner of Nashville; six grandchildren, Kiley and Brooklyn Flanders, James (Samantha) Wobler, Jeremy Terrill, Mathew Daviner and O’Mark Pannell; seven siblings, R. D. “Bob” (Lois) Woods, Buck (Theresa) Woods, Felix Woods, Jr., Linda (Bob) McCloud, Susie (Randy) Bartlett, Alice (Clice) Hobbs and Jeanie Woods; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant daughter, Christy Woods; two brothers, Joe and Jack Woods; and a sister, Carolyn Knight. Don’s favorite activities were fishing and watching wrestling on TV. There will be a gathering of family and friends on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM in Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, 1682 State Road 135 North. Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Charles Wright officiating; Burial will follow in Duncan Cemetery.
