Chad Aaron Bowlin

Chad Aaron Bowlin, 44, passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 in Indianapolis. Chad was born on May 21, 1974 in Kokomo to Chester Bowlin and Shirley (Jones) Cox. Chad graduated from Kokomo High School in 1992. He was married to Jamie (Richardson) on October 31, 1995 in Kokomo, and she survives. Chad had worked at Subaru Automotive of Lafayette for 8 years. Chad was an avid fan of various genres of music and had an extensive record collection. He also enjoyed watching horror movies and wrestling, and was an animal lover. Above all, Chad loved spending time with his family and enjoyed hiking outdoors with his sons. In addition to his parents and wife, Chad is survived by his sons, Alexander (Ashley) Bowlin, Julian Bowlin, and Jackson Bowlin; sisters, Sherri (Jimmie) Woodring and Sandra Lyding; father and mother in law, Roger and Dana Bowman; brother-in-law, Donovan Richardson; sister-in-law, Misty Bowman; grandchildren, Harrison, Bella, and Colton; nephews, Jason (Andrea) Vogel, Joshua (Ashley) Vogel, and Andrew Bowlin; great-nephew, Ashton Vogel; and cousins, Sarah Jones and Will Jones. Chad was preceded in death by four grandparents and a brother, Jeffery Bowlin. There will be a public visitation for Chad held at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 4th from 10-2, with a funeral service immediately following. Memorial contributions in Chad’s name may be made to the Kokomo Humane Society.
