Cora Anna Rose

Cora Anna Turnbill Rose, 94, of Columbus, Indiana died 5:37 p.m. Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at her home. She was born in Wallsend, Kentucky October 7, 1923, the daughter of Jack and Ella Mills Turnbill. She married Albert Rose December 7, 1941 in Corbin, KY; he preceded her in death June 24, 2001. Cora loved family get togethers enjoying being with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by daughter, Pamela R. (Dennis) Albert of Columbus; son, Larry G. (Missy) Rose of Havelock, NC; sister, Lela Helton of Flatlick, KY; brother, Charles Jack (Carol) Turnbill of Michigan; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; several siblings. Funeral service will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday (Sept. 30, 2018) with calling from 1:00 p.m. to service time at Vankirk-Grissell Funeral Home, 607 Master Street Corbin, KY 40701.
