Willice John Thompson, 87, passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at Morning Breeze in Greensburg. Willice was born on December 22, 1930 in Decatur County the son of Paul and Florence L. Rolin Thompson. He was a 1948 graduate of Burney High School. He married Nita Wullenweber on April 17, 1955 and together they had two boys Roger and Daryl.
Survivors include two sons – Roger (Teresa) Thompson of Greensburg and Daryl Thompson of Indianapolis; one sister Mary (Donald) Stillabower; one brother Dennis (Reba) Thompson of Greensburg; granddaughter Brittany (Kevin) Lane of Columbus and great grandson Mason. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Nita, and twin brother Wallace Thompson.
Willice was a lifetime farmer and resident of Decatur County. For over 40 years, he and his twin brother owned Thompson Brothers Farms; you always saw them together. Willice was a family man. He enjoyed working with his cows and pigs and caring for his farm ground.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 from 11am until the start of the funeral service at 1:00 pm at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home.
