Anita Sue Wilson

Anita Sue Wilson, 72, of Elizabethtown died Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Ft. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis. Anita was born in Washington County Indiana January 11, 1946, the daughter of Wayne and Beatrice Fleenor McCleery. She married Richard L. Wilson March 1, 1963 in Little York, Indiana and he survives. She was a Nanny and also worked in the office of Burris Electric and Plumbing Supply in Austin, IN. She was a member of Wilson Chapel Christian Union. She taught Sunday School for over 30 years. She also taught Bible School and Pioneer Club and was a youth leader for several years. She is survived by her husband, Richard L. Wilson of Elizabethtown; daughter, Pamela Sue (Harry) Bowman of North Vernon; son, Richard Allen (Connie Sue) Wilson of Scipio; brothers, Ronnie (Betty) McCleery of Seymour and Donnie (Jane) McCleery of Jeffersonville; sisters, Betty Burris of Austin, IN and Karen (Rick) Robinette of Elizabethtown; grandchildren, Kayla Joy, Krystal Sue, and Kyle Allen Wilson, Storm Bowman. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bobby and Bill McCleery; sister, Sherry Allman. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Wilson Chapel 9435 N Hwy 7 Elizabethtown with Pastor Doug Sharp officiating. Visitation 4-8 p.m. Friday Myers~Reed Chapel on 25th Street and from 1:30 to service time Saturday at the Church. Burial will follow in Bear Creek Cemetery.
