Christine McGhee Jarrett

Mrs. Christine McGhee Jarrett, age 82 of Collinsville, Virginia passed away on Monday, November 26, 2018. Mrs. Jarrett was born on February 24, 1936 in Franklin County, Virginia. She was a daughter of the late James Oscar McGhee and the late Roxie Myrtle Young Jarrett. She was also predeceased by her stepfather, Richard Eldon Jarrett and her husband, Lewis Elmer Jarrett. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Jarrett is survived by two daughters, Lisa Anne Jarrett Correll and husband, Joe Stephen of Bassett, Va., Tina Marie Jarrett Layman and husband, Tracy Alan of Patrick Springs, Va., three grandchildren, Logan Jarrett Correll, Nicholas Jarrett Layman, Colby Alan Layman and one great grandson, Landon Jarrett Correll. Funeral Services will be conducted at 12:00 PM on Friday, November 30, 2018 at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. J.D. Harmon officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
