Steven Fowler

Steven Fowler, 52, of Connersville, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at Fayette Regional Health. Steven was born in Connersville on October 21, 1966 to Johnny and Jeanette Croucher Fowler and attended Connersville High School. He was employed at Visteon and its predecessors and later worked at Containerkraft. Steven enjoyed being a handyman as well as backyard mechanic. He had attended New Hope Tabernacle. Steven is survived by his daughters: Amanda Holliman and her husband, Mark; Brittany Brown, all of Connersville; his mother: Jeanette Fowler of McKee, Kentucky; his sisters: Sandra Flowers and Christy McIntyre, both of Connersville; Lisa Fowler of McKee, Kentucky; his brothers: Ronald J. Fowler, Terry W. Fowler and Mark J. Fowler and his wife, JaLisa, all of Connersville; his companion: Abby Day of Connersville; grandsons: Dalton Paul Harlan, Mason Allen Brown, Abel J.J. Fowler; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and his cousin, Jimmy Croucher of Connersville with whom he shared a special bond. Steven was preceded in death by his father, his son: Steven J.J. “Bub” Fowler who died in 2016; an infant sister: Teresa Gail Fowler; his maternal grandparents: Earl and Zada Croucher; and his paternal grandparents: Ruford and Annie Fowler. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel with Pastor Mike Ison, officiating. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Garden of Memories. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 12 p.m. Monday until the time of service where memorial contributions may be made to help defray the expenses.
