Doris Eileen Watson

Doris Eileen (Hutcheson) Watson, 78, of Avon passed away following a six year battle with colon cancer on November 30, 2018 at 10:18 p.m. at Majestic Care. Doris was born in Putnam County on August 10, 1940, the daughter of Woodrow and Thelma (Berry) Hutcheson. She was a 1958 graduate of Bainbridge High School. Mrs. Hutchenson worked for seven years at Walden Inn, until her retirement. She was baptized at Mars Hill Christian Church at Ben Davis, Indianapolis. Doris enjoyed going fishing, mushroom hunting and playing Euchre. Survivors include her children, Mary Watson, Kenneth Ray Watson, and family, Lynda Watson, and Karena Phillippo, (husband-Dave); twelve grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; two brothers, Dick Hutcheson, (wife-Sherry), and Woodie Hutcheson, (wife-Freda); a sister, Nancy Curran, (husband-Bob); a brother-in-law, Donnie Morgan, (wife-Maryann); a special nephew, Jamie Morgan; a special niece, Brandy Flores; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 42 years, Ray Watson; two sons; Larry Ray Watson, and Gary Phillip Watson; a brother, Fred A Hutcheson; a sister-in-law, Penny Morgan; two brother-in-laws, Landy Watson Jr. and Ronald Watson.
