Alonzo Wyatt Douglas, Jr., 72, passed away on December 3, 2018. He was preceded in death by his father Dr. Alonzo Wyatt Douglas, Sr., his mother, Mayme Esther Douglas, both of Hampton, VA; and his sister, Watelia Morris of Upper Marlboro, MD. Left to cherish the memories of his great life are his children, Amie Nicole Douglas Hopson of Newport News, VA and Alonzo W. Douglas III, of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Simone Elise Douglas-Shepard and Thomas Alonzo Hopson of Newport News, VA; brother, Chauncey Quinton Douglas of San Jose, CA; nephew, Rahsaan Akeem Morris of Upper Marlboro, MD; special aunt Dora Thompson of Durham, NC and a host of extended family, friends, and loved ones. A Celebration of Life for Alonzo Wyatt Douglas, Jr., will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday December 29, 2018 at the Train Station Restaurant 2295 Harbor Rd Newport News, VA 23607.
