David Wood Smith

David Wood Smith 84, passed away on December 5, 2018. He was born August 26, 1934 in Indianapolis to Charles and Emily Wood Smith. David enjoyed playing golf, attending concerts and helping others. He was a Senior Computational Specialist for Eli Lilly for 27 years, retiring in 1993. He was a member of North Christian Church; Columbus IN. David is survived by his wife Caroline Cox-Smith, children Brian Smith, Hugh Smith, Laura Payne, Mitchell Cox and Leslie French, 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother Phillip Smith. A Celebration of David’s life will be Saturday, December 22, at 11 am at North Christian Church in Columbus, Indiana.
