Pauline Elizabeth (Mitchell) Hartman

Pauline Elizabeth Mitchell Hartman, 98, of Harrisonburg, VA passed away on December 17, 2018 at Sentara RMH Medical Center. She was born on May 17, 1920 in Ft. Seybert, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Jacob Wesley and Zola Florence Flemings Mitchell. Pauline graduated from Franklin High School in Franklin, WV and had been employed at Melpar in Falls Church, VA. She was a member of Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth P. Hartman, Sr. on July 26, 2015. She is survived by a son Kenneth P. Hartman, Jr. of Winchester; three grandsons, John D. Hartman and wife, Jayanne, of England, Michael P. Hartman and wife, Renay, of Winchester, and Mark A. Gnik and wife, Kerry, of West Virginia; four great-grandsons, Joseph D., Jacob D. and Peter Hartman, and Gavin Gnik; three great-granddaughters, Abigail and Ashley Hartman and Sydney Gnik. The family will receive friends 10-11 am, Friday, December 21, 2018 at Lindsey Funeral Home in Harrisonburg. A funeral service will be held at 11 am, Friday, December 21, 2018 at the funeral home with Pastor Wayne Wright officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
