Alfred Eugene Clark
82, of Beech Grove, passed away on December 26, 2018. He was born January 24, 1936 in Canton, Illinois to Eugene Lafon and Viola Mae Clark. He was employed at International Harvester in Canton, Illinois and Navistar in Indianapolis for 35 years. After his retirement he was employed at Exciting Lighting. He was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Church. In the past he was active with St. Simon St. Vincent dePaul Society. He loved woodworking and until his health would no longer permit. He was a member of the Indiana Woodworkers Club and helped make tips for needy children. He loved to fish and work on his model railroad. Al is survived by his longtime companion Marjorie Forbes, his nieces Shelia Sloan and Jamie (Billy) Sloan. His nephew Stephen Sloan and his extended family: Ken (Kristy) Owens, Edward Owens, Shellee (Arron) Pietras, Anna (Mario) Kosseifi, David (Tasha) Conner. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Kenny Sloan. Visitation will be held Monday, December 31 from 10 – 11:30 am at Little & Sons Funeral Home Beech Grove Chapel followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Name Catholic Church at Noon. Entombment will be at Calvary Cemetery. Al will be deeply missed by all those who knew him. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church..
