Charles Franklin Graham, 83, of Evington passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019, after a long illness.
Born on November 3, 1935 in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late Charles Anson Graham and Elizabeth Leonard Graham. Charles served our country in the United States Navy and retired from GE and Ericsson after 38 years of service.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister.
Charles is survived by his daughter, Kim L. Graham; Delores J. Graham; one brother; and one sister.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Charles neighbors' Jimmy and Janice Wells, who checked on him and would update his daughter with winter weather reports and to Liz Shergill, and Gentle Care for the Elderly for their loving care they gave to Charles.
A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Fort Hill Memorial Park at the mausoleum near the veterans section. Military honors will be presented by American Legion Post 16.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Campbell County Animal Shelter or the Friends of Campbell County Animal Control.
