Barbara Lea Hashman

Barbara Lea Hashman, age 75, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Friday January 18, 2019. Barbara was born March 6, 1943 in Maumee, Ohio to Catherine Johnson and Raymond Johnson. She married Russell "Curt" Hashman in 1996. Barbara was an active water aerobics instructor for the Arthritis Foundation of Indianapolis. She was a United States Air Force veteran. She enjoyed reading and gardening. Barbara grew up with a love for dogs and she was able to spend her last few days with her beloved dog, Cooper. Barbara is survived by her husband, Russell "Curt" Hashman; son, John Gerhardt; daughters, Mary Beth Priest and Nanci (Tom) Quellhorst; grandsons, Hank and Nate Quellhorst; and sister, Diane (Neal) Rowe. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Catherine Johnson.
