JEANNE ERNESTINE (TOOROP) FRANKEN, 97, "our beloved mother" went to be with her Lord on Thursday, January 31, 2019. "Mom" was a resident at Heritage Park Rehabilitation Care Center for the last three years where she received loving care. She worked at St. Joseph Hospital and Wesleyan Kiddie College before retiring. Surviving are her daughters, Gwendolyn (Ron) Harding, Myrthe Henemyer and Conny Franken; grandchildren, Chad, Nicole, Cory (Brandy), and Patrick (Bekah); and several nieces and nephews, including Rita Lowder who provided loving care for several years prior to Mom's entry into Heritage Park. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elias Franken; son, Thomas Henemyer; and grandson, John Michael Harding. Mass of the Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 1515 Barthold Street, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2019, with Rosary service at 7:00 p.m. at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 Wells Street. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Preferred memorials are to Matthew 25 or Precious Blood Education Tuition Fund.
