Eduarda Maria Cardona

Eduarda “Maria” Cardona, 98, of Evansville, IN, passed away Friday, February 8, 2019, at Solarbron Terrace. She was born on July 22, 1920, in Aquadilla, Puerto Rico, to the late Manuel & Justina (Villalba) Cardona. She was preceded in death by her husband, José Manual Suárez; two sisters, Haydee & Judy; and beloved son-in-law, David Shuck. Maria is survived by her daughters, Ada Shuck and Miriam Mundo (Steve); grandchildren, Stacie Bierman (Dale), Jennifer Shuck, Joey Shuck (Tanya), Melissa Mundo Reed (Danny); great grandchildren, Dakota, Marissa, David Jr, Sydney, Devin, Jakob, Danny III, and Morgan; four great great grandchildren, brother, Victor Cardona (Carmen); and nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 14, 2019, at Alexander West Chapel. Family and friends may visit Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
