Helena Mae Brown Thompson, age 82, of Beech Grove, Indiana passed away on Monday March 25, 2019. Helena was born May 22, 1936 in Mud Camp, Kentucky to Alma (Wisdom) Brown and Howard Brown. She was the Executive Secretary to the President of the Division of Homeland Ministries of the Disciples of Christ and an active and social member at Heartland Church of Christ in Greenwood.
Helena is survived by; daughter Tricia Thompson; and son Kerry Thompson (Sally); grandson Brian Thompson (Megan), granddaughter Alison Kuhn (Jake) and great grandsons Jonathan Thompson, Stephen Kuhn, and Andrew Thompson.
Helena was preceded in death by her husband George Thompson; father Howard Brown and mother Alma (Wisdom) Brown.
Visitation for Helena will be held Thursday, March 28, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 4901 E Stop Eleven Road, Indianapolis, Indiana. Her funeral service will be Friday, March 29, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with burial to follow at Washinton Park East, Indianapolis, Indiana.
