Randell H Spears

Randell H. Spears, 83, of Evansville, passed away Friday, March 29, 2019, at Linda E. White Hospice House. He was born to the late Harvey and Lona Spears in Central City, KY. He was an auto body and paint technician for over 50 years. Randy loved participating in car shows with the trike he built and loved. He was a kind-hearted and loving person who helped teach and shape the lives of many. Randy loved family get-togethers and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Christine “Teenie” (Stearman) Spears; brothers, Robert and Kenneth; and sister, Betty Keith. Randy is survived by his wife, Emma Spears; daughter, Jeanne Gourley (Michael); sons, Mike Spears (Patty), Jack Spears (Janet) and Gary Spears; step-sons, Steve and Rick Rainwater; grandchildren, Eric and Brent Gourley, Robyn and Chris Spears, Randi Hurt, Stetsun and Sassy Sunderman, Heather Pully, Jackie and Justin Spears, Jessica Quates, Angie White and Jason Spears; step-grandchildren, Katie, Justin and Steve Rainwater; 23 great grandchildren; 9 step-great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; brother, Billy Spears; sisters, Doris Ruggs and Shirley Moreno; and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 5, 2019, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Pastor John Kellough, with burial in Locust Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Randy’s family extends a special thank you to the staff at the Linda E.
