Harmon Edward Warpup

Harmon E. Warpup, 93 of Markle passed away at 11:45 pm on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Visiting Nurse and Hospice in Fort Wayne. Harmon was a lifetime farmer in Huntington County and had done carpentry work over the years. He was a member of Markle Church of Christ. Harmon was a regular at the Crossroads Pantry in the mornings and the Huggy Bear in the evenings.
Harmon was born on April 20, 1925 in Huntington County, the son of Harmon and Flora (Gephart) Warpup.
He was united in marriage to Opa Fay Collins on December 24, 1948. She preceded him in death on March 22, 2014.
Survivors include a son: Jim (Javonda) Warpup of Warren; a daughter: Jane (Dave) Day of Markle; a sister: Agnes Collins of Bluffton; five grandchildren: Brian (Nicole) Warpup, Melinda Haynes, Toby Warpup, Stacy (Steve) Bonner, Darren (Apryl) Goeglein and nine great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no visitation or funeral service.
A private family graveside service will be held at the Star of Hope Cemetery.
