Kinnie Rhoden Bridgers, Jr., 96, of North Chesterfield, retired owner of Bridgers Drywall Company, avid gardener and piddler, passed away May 1, 2019. Born in Northampton County, NC, he served in the United States Army during World War II, and was predeceased by his parents, seven siblings, and his wife of 49 years, Eleanor G. Bridgers. He is survived by three daughters, Margaret B. Leonard (Russ) of Midlothian, Carole B. Justice of North Chesterfield, and Janet C. Bridgers (John Bric) of University City, MO; four grandchildren: Andrea Drummond (John), David Leonard, Marnie Lewis, and Eleanor Falconer (Bobby); and six great-grandchildren: Melanie Lewis; Wade, Kaylee, Anna, and Leanne Falconer; and Rebekah Drummond; also his foster daughter, Donna B. Noden of Edina, MN; Garland D. Kitchens of Malaysia, who was like a son; and many nieces, nephews and friends who loved him.
The family will receive friends at the Huguenot Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Rd, Monday, May 6, 6-8 and where funeral services will be held, Tuesday, May 7 at 11:00 am. Interment Dale Memorial Park.
