Margaret Robinson Hinton

Margaret Lea Robinson Hinton, 74, of Madison Heights, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was married to the late Michael David Hinton in 1963. Born on July 17, 1944 in Danville, she was the daughter of the late John Laurence Robinson and the late Venita McElroy Robinson. Margaret enjoyed working and volunteering at the Madison Heights Library and loved animals. She was a member of Monroe United Methodist Church. Margaret is survived by her son, Mark Hinton of CA and cousins, Ray Robinson, Patricia Robinson, and Dorothy Gordon. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Monday, May 13, 2019 at Monroe United Methodist Church with Pastor Yosep Nam officiating. Interment will follow at Meade Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church starting at 10:15 am. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Monroe United Methodist Church, PO Box 237, Monroe, VA 24574.
