Henry Loving Floyd

Henry Loving Floyd, 87 of Madison Heights passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at his home. He was born in Amherst County on November 28, 1931, son of the late Arthur and Eliza Floyd. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Timmy Floyd. He was retired from Lynchburg College. Henry loved fishing, cutting wood and restoring old vehicles. Survivors include 2 sons, Tony Floyd and girlfriend Wanda Walker and Gary Floyd; a daughter, Tammy Riddle and boyfriend Tim Link and his son Adam; a sister, Edith Milner; 2 grandchildren, Michael Riddle and wife Lori and Jamie Floyd and wife Brandi. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren and his special angel and caregiver, Angie Crump. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, May 27, 2019 at Meade Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at Whitten Monelison Chapel.
