Burnis Pollard

Burnis Pollard, 84 years of age passed away on June 5, 2019. He was born on October 15, 1934 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late Chester and Lenora (Combs) Pollard. Burnis was the former owner and operator of Pollard’s Body Shop. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Kathlene Young Pollard. Survivors include his children, Kathy Pollard, Stanley Pollard (Dena), Timothy Pollard, Jeffrey Pollard (Diana), Lisa Pollard (William Kirchner); brothers, Coy, Roger, Kenneth; sisters, Jewell Miller, Ruth Crawford, Margie Napier, Fern Young (Nolan); 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Visitation will be 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm Sunday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His funeral service will be held 10:00 am Monday at the funeral home chapel with burial at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana. Online condolences may be made to www.kraftfs.com
