John Michael Hudson

John Michael Hudson, age 51 of Big Island went to be with his Lord and Savior, on Monday, June 3, 2019. He was born in Bedford County on April 9, 1968, son of the late Charles and Sylvia Hudson Guerich. He worked for K&W Cafeteria and attended Virginia Western Community College. John was an outdoorsman who loved spending time with friends and family. Survivors include 2 brothers, E. C. Hudson and wife Cynthia and Jeffrey L. Hudson and wife Katheryn ; 2 nieces, Ashleigh and husband Tom and Tessleigh and husband Jason; 1 nephew, Charles Jordan, II and fiancé, Gabi; 5 great nieces and nephews, Mackenzie, Mason, Marshall, Peyton and Tanner. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, June 10, 2019 at Spring Hill Cemetery with Pastor Jonathan Falwell officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 – 5 pm on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
