Jerry Wilburn Hunt

Jerry Wilburn Hunt, age 76, of Rixeyville, VA, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2019, at UVA Culpeper Novant Health. Born January 4, 1943, to Willie B. Hunt and Evie Brannon Hunt, Jerry retired from the Fairfax public school system as a welder. He loved gardening, fishing, cooking, basketball and small engine repair. Surviving Jerry is his wife Janis Hunt of Rixeyville, VA, children Chris Hunt of Centreville, VA and Tanya Hunt and her boyfriend Brandon Graham of Rixeyville, VA and his beloved dog “Buddy”, siblings Bobby Hunt, Ted Hunt and Vonnie Lovering and his grandchild Trevor Hunt. Along with his parents, Jerry is preceded in death by Buddy Hunt and Bonnie Lee The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Clore-English Funeral Home, 11190 James Monroe Highway, Culpeper, VA, with a dedication service in Retiring of the Pilgrim by the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #1896 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2019 at the Clore-English Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Lee Brown officiating.
