Annie Laurie Clater

Annie Laurie Clater, 90, of Castleton, VA passed away June 19, 2019 in Fauquier Hospital. She was born to Edward Cumberland Estes and Mabel Curtis Blackwell Estes May 17, 1929. Mrs. Clater was the widow of Isaac Merritt Clater. Surviving Mrs. Clater are her children, Mary Lou Koch, Jo Ann Clater, Cathy Clater, Roxie Edward Clater and Nancy Faye Clater; her siblings, Marshall Ashby Estes and Willie Lou Estes Cloud; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter Gloria Clater Snellings and her siblings, Mida Estes Cannon, John Edward Estes, Edwin Adolph Estes and Dorothy Estes Mauney. Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, June 24, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Sperryville Cemetery, Sperryville, VA. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rappahanncok Historical Society, P.O.
