Patsy Lee Peters
January 16, 1956 – June 21, 2019
IN THE CARE OF

God’s hand created a breeze on the first day of summer and carried the soul of Patsy Lee Tomlin Peters, 63, of Madison Heights, home to heaven. She was the wife of James ”Jim” Lee Peters for almost twenty years.
Born January 16, 1956 in Amherst County, she was the daughter of the late James Henry and Mildred Staton Tomlin. Patsy was former employee of Courtland Manufacturing and Quality Foods Co-op. She was a member of Randolph Memorial Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, Patsy is survived by a special cousin, Linda Atkins of Lynchburg; her “adoptive mother”, Betty Tomlin of Monroe; several other cousins, and her beloved cat, “Lil Bear”. She also leaves to cherish her memory, her best friend, Judy Brooks of Madison Heights.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with Dr. Derik Hamby officiating. Interment will follow in the Cheatham Family Cemetery in Amherst County.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
