Obituary of Clifton Hannah
Clifton Barton “Clif” Hannah, 61, passed away on June 29, 2019. Born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Frank and Margery Hannah, Clif was a resident of Hampton for 59 years. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Kim Joyner Hannah; their three sons Josh (Sandi), Matthew (Lizzie), and Spencer; his brother William “Bill” Hannah (Barbara), brother-in-law Jimmy Joyner (Renee) and his nieces and nephews. To his three grandchildren, Autumn, Miranda and Sean, he was simply their loving Pop Pop. With his brother Bill, Clif was the owner of Multi-Print, the printing company their father founded in 1970. Through his business, he was a proud supporter of his community, especially of organizations that benefited children. At the age of 59, Clif decided to take on a new adventure and started his weekend business, Pop Pop’s Kettle Corn. He loved meeting people, and being involved in area events and festivals. In his spare time, Clif loved to cook for his friends and family, kayak in the waters around Hampton and Mathews County, and fish anywhere he could find a boat ride or a good beach. An avid collector of “useless knowledge,” he also enjoyed weekly trivia nights with some of his closest friends. Clif will be remembered for his kind heart, his big smile, and his generous spirit. A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, July 8, 2019 12:00 p.m. at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 N Armistead Avenue, Hampton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to An Achievable Dream, 10858 Warwick Boulevard, Suite A, Newport News, VA 23601.
